Twitter developer platform launch
Democratizing access to #BuildWhatsNext.
Role: director of strategy & creative Innovation
The Brief: Inspire developers everywhere to create what's next on Twitter.
We launched a new product, and rebrand that scaled Twitter's Developer Platform from an enterprise vision to one that put developers and their creativity first. Our teams built in public and gave everyone the tools to create the future of conversation, on and off Twitter.
To inspire any developer to #BuildWhat'sNext. And they did.

📈 Last year, we partnered with S&P Dow Jones Indices to launch a series of stock indices powered by Twitter data, tracking the most positively-talked about companies in the S&P 500.

These indices again outperformed their benchmarks by 61 bps and 27 bps in Q2. 🧵 pic.twitter.com/Ix3NSypH76

We're launching a free COVID-19 stream endpoint so qualified devs & researchers can study the public conversation in real-time. https://t.co/BPqMcQzhId
Make no mistake: this is one of Twitter’s most important launches, ever. Twitter API v2 is our first step towards building an open developer platform that will inspire and enable innovation that serves the public conversation https://t.co/oOQvO9kSCe
